What kind of payments do you accept?
We take Debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. We also take Paypal.
How do I use my gift certificate online?
This one is a bit tricky. We haven't figured out how to add payment by a gift certificate online so in the meantime we have to process those orders over the phone. Call us at 613-544-1230 and we will do the thing!
How do I use my credit note online?
Same answer as above-this happens over the phone.
I've lost my credit note. What can I do?
You are in luck because we believe in keeping paper records. We've got an old-school binder that is alphabetized and stored behind the till so if (when) you lose your credit note we can still find it. You're welcome :)
What shipping methods do you offer?
We ship by Canada Post.
How much is shipping?
We ship for $14.99 plus tax in Ontario and Quebec, and $19.99 plus tax anywhere else in Canada for orders of $1-149. If you're spending $150 or more before tax we'll ship for free with code: FREESHIP150. If you live in Kingston or within 40 kms of Kingston we'll deliver for free too!
Can you ship to the USA?
We can! Call your order in to us though (1-613-544-1230) or email because we need to pop over to the post office to find out how much the shipping is.
How will my order be packed?
Being an environmental store, we try to reuse everything we can and that includes packaging. So be prepared for your order to be wrapped in a seemingly random box.

Can I change or edit my order?
Yep! Just email us or call us and we'll make any changes you need.
Sizing & Fit:
How do I know what size to get?
We try to make sure there's a size chart on each item of clothing. When in doubt you can always call or email us with any questions you have too. Hats are final sale though (for hygienic issues) so we strongly recommend if you can come into the store and try them on that you do so.
Here's the return policy for in-store shopping:
Refund if returned in 7 days with original receipt. Exchange or credit within 30 days with original receipt. All returns and exchanges must be in original condition with tags still attached and free of the smell of cigarette smoke and perfume. For hygienic reasons all pillows, earrings, underwear, and bath and body products are final sale. Glass and ceramic products are thoroughly inspected before they are purchased from Verde. We are not responsible for breakages of glass or ceramic products once they leave the store. All edible products (tea, chocolate, etc) are final sale. All Sale items are final sale.

Let us know as soon as possible if there is something wrong with an item we've shipped/delivered to you (if possible the same day). Then we can determine if we're sending a new item to you or if you're sending it back to us and a refund is being issued. Every item is thoroughly inspected when it leaves Verde and packed with care so if it arrives broken we need to determine why. We cannot accept returns for worn, soiled, or washed merchandise. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Please consider using a traceable form of delivery. Shipping & Handling fees are non-refundable. For hygienic reasons all pillows, earrings, underwear, and bath and body products are final sale. Sale items are final sale.
